June arrives softly at Poggio, carrying with it the first true feeling of summer.<\/p>\n
The garden changes almost overnight.
\nWild daisies begin to cover the grass in white and pale pink,
\ndeep red tulips rise quietly between the green,
\nwhile bright calendula flowers open slowly beneath the warm Tuscan sun.<\/p>\n

The first figs appear on the branches,
\npoppies move gently in the wind,
\nand every corner of the garden feels alive with colour, perfume and light.<\/p>\n
In the early morning, the air is still fresh and filled with the scent of herbs and flowers.
\nBy afternoon, the garden becomes warmer, slower, filled with the sound of insects, distant voices and long shadows moving across the paths.<\/p>\n
At Poggio, this is the season where life returns outdoors.<\/p>\n

Flowers begin to enter the kitchen alongside the herbs.

\nwhile Michele moves through the garden searching for inspiration among colours, scents and the first ingredients of the season.<\/p>\n
There is something deeply gentle about June here.
\nNothing feels rushed.
\nThe land opens slowly, generously,
\noffering its first fruits, its flowers and its quiet beauty day after day.<\/p>\n
