At Poggio ai Santi, we spent the entire winter imagining a new way to experience nature — we called it “The Nests.”
Several hectares of the property, located lower down and until now preserved as untouched Mediterranean scrubland, are now home to these peaceful hideaways. As at Poggio, the nearby sea, the Gulf of Baratti, and the Island of Elba define the horizon. But here, you also enjoy a unique panorama of unspoiled, wild Tuscan hills.
Our “Nests” are nestled along a long line of eucalyptus trees towering above the olive groves. You can admire nature in all its glory from the large terraces suspended between sky and earth.
We’ve created true luxury glamping spaces: solid structures with windows, doors, and travertine bathrooms that blend comfort with harmony in the landscape. Each Nest features a spacious shaded terrace for outdoor living and a private mini pool—perfect for dreaming or sipping a cocktail in complete peace.
You can drive to the Nests, but to reach breakfast, your appetite will be gently awakened by a short 300-meter walk with a 40-meter elevation gain through nature (a driving alternative to the restaurant’s parking area is also available).
