A slower rhythm, shaped by taste, land and shared moments
April arrives quietly at Poggio ai Santi.
The light stretches a little longer each day, the garden begins to awaken, and everything seems to invite you outside — to walk, to taste, to listen.
It is the season of beginnings.
And here, beginnings often take the form of small, shared experiences.
Throughout April, we open our doors not just as a place to stay, but as a place to encounter — the land, the flavours, and the people who bring them to life.
A calendar of simple pleasures
Each experience at Poggio is an invitation.
Not a performance, but a moment to step into something real.
Olive Oil Tasting by Alberto
Every Wednesday afternoon
A gentle introduction to what we like to call our green gold.
The journey begins with the essentials — how extra virgin olive oil is made, and what makes a truly organic production different.
Then comes the tasting: four monocultivars and one blend, all produced here at Poggio ai Santi as organic IGP Toscana olive oil.
There are no rigid rules, only curiosity — supported by small pairings that make each flavour more playful, more alive.
Duration: 1 hour
Price: €20 per person
Wine Tasting by Dievole
April 9 & April 23 at 17:00
A journey across Tuscany, without moving from your seat.
In collaboration with Dievole, this tasting brings together six wines from three iconic areas: Bolgheri, Chianti Classico and Montalcino.
It becomes a kind of horizontal exploration — different terroirs, different expressions, one shared landscape.
Hosted at Il Sale, it is an experience for those who wish to understand Tuscany through its wines, slowly and with depth.
Price: €85 per person
Wine Tasting by Miriam
Alternate Thursdays at 15:00
A more intimate, more flexible encounter with wine.
This is not a formal tasting, but rather a conversation.
Three wines from the Tuscan coast become a starting point — to talk, to taste, to explore without pressure.
Sometimes it feels more like a gathering than a lesson.
A “wine talking”, as we like to call it.
Duration: approx. 1 hour
Price: €35 per person

What is coming next
We are also preparing something new —
a beer tasting experience curated by SAL8.
Still in the making, but already carrying the same spirit:
local, thoughtful, and a little unexpected.
A different way of staying
At Poggio ai Santi, these moments are not activities to fill time.
They are part of a way of living — where land, food and people remain deeply connected.
April is a beautiful time to experience this.
Not everything is in full bloom yet — and maybe that is exactly why it feels so true.
